Preparing for emergencies is crucial for ensuring the safety of families, and it presents an opportunity for the entire family to engage in the process together in simple yet effective ways. Created by Sesame Street in partnership with PSEG, this interactive tool is intended to assist parents and children (ages 2-5) in preparing for unexpected situations collectively. Through kid-friendly songs and games, children are introduced to essential emergency preparedness concepts, while adults can access tips, customizable checklists, and detailed suggestions to facilitate emergency planning. The parent section includes additional resources for better preparation.
This resource equips children with fundamental knowledge that promotes safety and instills a sense of readiness.
